The recovery time for transconjunctival lower blepharoplasty is generally 7 to 10 days, although some patients may recover within 2 to 3 days after surgery. In individual cases where there is a clear tendency for bleeding, the recovery period may extend to 3 or 4 weeks. Transconjunctival lower blepharoplasty involves accessing and treating the orbital fat via the conjunctival approach, avoiding skin incisions. Therefore, the recovery period is shorter compared to the external (transcutaneous) approach.
