What should I do about scar hypertrophy after having epicanthoplasty surgery six months ago?
Disease description:
Six months ago, I had double eyelid surgery at the hospital, but there is still localized hypertrophy. What should I do about the scar hypertrophy that developed after my眼角 (eye corner) surgery six months ago?
Scar hypertrophy occurring half a year after an epicanthoplasty procedure can be treated through methods such as applying scar-reduction ointment locally. Scar overgrowth persisting six months post-surgery is primarily caused by inflammatory infection, and may also be related to one's individual scarring tendency (scar-prone constitution). Applying anti-scar cream locally can help reduce the appearance of scars and inhibit further scar tissue growth. Additionally, laser treatment can be used to loosen the internal scar tissue, softening fibrous connective tissue; this may be followed by injecting biological agents to activate dormant cells, thereby promoting healing.
