After rhinoplasty with implants, patients should pay attention to cold compresses and dietary restrictions. When applying a cold compress, avoid directly pressing on the nose; instead, apply it to the sides of the nose or under the forehead. Avoid touching the nasal area too early. Generally, the implant will gradually stabilize after about one month. During this period, avoid touching the nasal area and wearing framed glasses, as the pressure from the glasses may displace or tilt the nasal implant. Keep the incision site clean and dry, and disinfect using chlortetracycline eye ointment and alcohol swabs—however, avoid over-cleaning. If skin redness or whitening at the nasal tip occurs, seek medical evaluation promptly.
