This procedure involves inserting a fluid catheter into the patient's uterine cavity and injecting saline solution, then assessing tubal patency based on the patient’s response—such as lower abdominal pain or bloating—and subjective sensations. However, this method has low accuracy. Regarding diet, patients should generally avoid cold, spicy, fishy, and other irritating foods.
