Why is there increased vaginal discharge but no menstrual period?
Disease description:
I am a 29-year-old woman. Recently, I've noticed that upon waking up in the morning, there is often vaginal discharge on my underwear, but my period has not arrived. I'm very concerned about this situation and unsure whether something might be wrong with my body. Why am I experiencing increased vaginal discharge but no menstruation?
An increase in vaginal discharge in women does not necessarily mean they will later experience menstrual pain. Sometimes, increased discharge can occur during ovulation or after pregnancy. If a woman has certain gynecological inflammatory conditions, this may also lead to increased vaginal discharge, but in such cases the discharge may have abnormal characteristics. Currently, if a woman experiences increased vaginal discharge along with delayed menstruation, pregnancy should first be considered. If pregnancy is ruled out and menstruation still hasn't started within seven days, it may be considered menstrual irregularity.
