Disease description:

Recently, I went for a checkup and found out that my fallopian tubes are partially blocked. This is why I haven't been able to get pregnant despite trying for several months. Every time I see my husband's disappointed expression, my stress increases even more. What should I do about partially blocked fallopian tubes?

For fallopian tubes that are partially patent but not fully clear, treatments such as fallopian tube hydrotherapy, pelvic physical therapy, or oral medications may be used. If the fallopian tubes are not sufficiently open, normal pregnancy may be affected, and even if pregnancy occurs, it could result in an ectopic pregnancy. When the fallopian tubes are patent, treatment must be strictly followed according to the prescribed course. In cases of mild tubal obstruction, tubal catheterization can be performed to clear the tubes, typically requiring 3–5 sessions. For severe tubal blockage, fallopian tube irrigation combined with pelvic physical therapy may be used, possibly supplemented with rectal administration of rehabilitation and anti-inflammatory suppositories. If inflammation is severe, intravenous or oral antibiotics may be selected for treatment.
