Dr. Guan Yanlei
The treatment of closed head injury depends on the patient's clinical condition. In cases of closed head injury with simple concussion, minimal subarachnoid hemorrhage, small subdural hematoma, and insignificant subarachnoid bleeding, if there is no brain shift—meaning no space-occupying effect and no compression on the brain or ventricles—and the midline structures on CT scan show no obvious deviation, conservative management with close observation is recommended.
