Precursors of brainstem hemorrhage
Disease description:
Nowadays, an increasing number of people are suffering from brainstem hemorrhage. I would like to ask, what are the warning signs of brainstem hemorrhage?
Brainstem hemorrhage usually has no obvious warning signs and often occurs suddenly. Some patients have underlying medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or hyperlipidemia, and then abruptly develop severe headache, a sharp rise in blood pressure, hemiplegia, aphasia, sensory disturbances, or even coma, which can be life-threatening. If the above symptoms occur, the patient should immediately take oral antihypertensive medication and promptly call 120 for emergency hospital treatment. During transportation, the patient should lie supine. If vomiting occurs, the patient should be turned onto their side with head supported to prevent aspiration of vomit, which could lead to lung infection or suffocation.
