Infant brain injury can be identified through the following aspects: First, observe whether the baby's neurological development is abnormal, such as vision, hearing, and head control. For example, if a baby cannot lift their head by three months of age, it may indicate brain damage. Second, check for motor function problems—such as stiff limbs, limited mobility, frequent twitching or trembling of the limbs, and a tendency to have seizures. Additionally, if there is cerebellar damage, a one-year-old child may frequently fall and walk unsteadily. Other signs include decreased intelligence, epilepsy, delayed or diminished response to colorful toys or sounds, excessive sleeping, and reduced activity, all of which can help identify brain injury in infants.
