Influenza A refers to influenza caused by the type A influenza virus, which is an acute respiratory infectious disease. Its main symptoms include fever, with body temperature reaching as high as 39–40°C, accompanied by chills, muscle and joint pain, headache, general malaise, fatigue, loss of appetite, sore throat, dry cough, nasal congestion, runny nose, and substernal discomfort. Symptomatic treatment under a doctor's guidance may include medications such as ibuprofen suspension or acetaminophen suspension for fever reduction, and antiviral drugs such as oseltamivir phosphate capsules or acyclovir capsules.
