Disease description:

I currently have a high fever of 38.5°C, sore throat, and runny nose. After receiving intravenous fluids for two days, my fever subsided but then rose again. I'm wondering if it could possibly be H1N1 influenza. May I ask how long the incubation period for the H1N1 virus is?

The incubation period for H1N1 influenza is 7 days. If you have a fever above 39°C for three consecutive days, along with symptoms resembling the common cold, you should consider the possibility of H1N1 influenza. I recommend that you go to the hospital for an examination. Even if it's just a common cold, you should still seek medical attention. If you suspect you might have contracted H1N1, it's even more important to see a doctor, as mild H1N1 infections are generally easier to treat.
