How to Boost Immunity
Disease description:
Hello doctor, I recently had the flu (H1N1) and have just recovered, but I still feel that my body isn't as strong as it used to be. Could you please advise how I can boost my immune system?
1. Regular exercise: Exercise helps maintain a healthy physique, promotes metabolism, and enhances immune function. Engage in moderate-intensity physical activity for 30 to 60 minutes daily.
2. Eat more vegetables and fruits: Rich in vitamins, fruits and vegetables support the normal functioning of the immune system. Aim to consume at least two servings of vegetables and fruits every day.
3. Drink plenty of water: Water is essential for the immune system and helps boost the body's immune capacity. It is recommended to drink 6–8 glasses of water daily to keep the body adequately hydrated.
4. Get sufficient sleep: Sleep promotes the development of the immune system and increases the body’s resistance. Ensure at least 6–8 hours of sleep each night.
5. Maintain a positive mood: A cheerful and optimistic mindset strengthens immunity. Participate regularly in recreational activities that benefit mental and physical well-being to relax and enhance immune function.
