Early signs of chronic leukemia
Disease description:
Last week, I went to the hospital with a friend for a checkup and found out that my friend has chronic leukemia. I would like to ask, what are the early symptoms of chronic leukemia?
In the early stage, chronic leukemia mainly causes symptoms such as excessive sweating, physical fatigue, weakness, and low-grade fever. Some patients may also develop明显 splenomegaly (enlarged spleen), accompanied by a feeling of fullness or heaviness in the left upper abdomen, and a palpable mass can be clearly felt. Most patients do not exhibit typical symptoms in the early phase and are usually diagnosed through routine health examinations. In cases of chronic myeloid leukemia, blood tests show a significant increase in granulocytes, whereas in chronic lymphocytic leukemia, blood tests reveal a marked elevation in lymphocytes.
