A bitter taste in the mouth and nausea when consuming oily foods may be caused by excessive alcohol consumption recently, binge eating before sleep, or frequent intake of spicy and irritating foods, leading to digestive system disturbances and resulting in functional dyspepsia. If the liver's detoxification and metabolic functions are impaired, bilirubin metabolism decreases, and the ability to synthesize and secrete bile is reduced, bile stasis may occur, causing these symptoms.
