I've had lower back pain for the past few days, and I suspect it might be a kidney problem. I'd like to know what symptoms indicate early-stage kidney disease?

In early-stage kidney disease, patients experience declining renal function, which can easily lead to massive proteinuria and increased foaming during urination. It may also result in hypoalbuminemia, causing symptoms such as eyelid swelling, limb edema, and ascites. Some patients may even notice visible hematuria. If blood pressure is elevated and poorly controlled, patients may experience dizziness, chest tightness, heart failure, and vision deterioration.
