Wind-heat感冒 may result from frequently engaging in heavy physical labor, excessive熬夜, excessive mental stress, prolonged exposure to cold air or air conditioning during hot weather, or having a relatively weak constitution with decreased immunity, leading to invasion by heat and wind pathogenic factors. Wind-cold感冒 may be caused by low ambient temperatures or inadequate warmth retention, resulting in reduced overall or respiratory defense capacity. It may also stem from low immunity with infections such as influenza virus or parainfluenza virus, or underlying chronic conditions such as chronic pharyngitis or tonsillitis.
