I've had a slight cold these past couple of days, but I'm not sure whether it's a wind-heat or wind-cold type. I'd like to know how to differentiate between wind-heat and wind-cold感冒.

In general, wind-heat感冒 and wind-cold感冒 can be differentiated based on symptoms. Patients with wind-heat感冒 typically experience noticeable fever, nasal congestion, cough with yellow phlegm, yellowish purulent nasal discharge, sore and swollen throat, and yellow tongue coating. Patients with wind-cold感冒 usually have mild fever, nasal congestion, clear watery nasal discharge, cough with thin white sputum, or muscle aches.
