Influenza B fever may lead to infantile emergency rash (exanthem subitum). If the fever caused by Influenza B lasts for an extended period or reaches a high temperature, it could trigger infantile emergency rash. This condition is a viral dermatitis characterized primarily by red rashes that appear in a wave-like pattern across the body and are easily confused with other rashes. Infantile emergency rash is often accompanied by symptoms such as fever, diarrhea, and cough; however, if the fever becomes very high, symptoms like difficulty breathing may occur. When parents notice their child has a fever due to Influenza B, they should promptly measure the child's temperature and seek medical attention immediately if the fever is found to be high.
