The main difference between viral influenza and hepatitis B lies in their causative pathogens. Viral influenza is a type of cold caused by influenza viruses, adenoviruses, and hemophilus viruses. It is characterized by obvious symptoms such as fever, headache, sore throat, nasal congestion, runny nose, general fatigue, and muscle pain, and may lead to complications including pneumonia, tuberculosis, or post-pneumonia tuberculosis. In contrast, hepatitis B is an infectious disease caused by the hepatitis B virus (HBV), which can be transmitted through blood, bodily fluids, semen, and other routes. Symptoms include fever, headache, diarrhea, liver enlargement, abnormal liver function, rash, and a tendency to bleed. It may result in severe complications such as cirrhosis and liver cancer, and can even lead to death.
