In general, the duration of recurrent fever associated with influenza A is relatively short, typically lasting 3 to 5 days, although the exact duration may vary from person to person. Recurrent fever usually occurs during the process of viral clearance, but the total fever period does not exceed 7 to 10 days. After infection, the incubation period usually lasts about 1 to 7 days.
