Can tooth extraction change your face shape?

In general, tooth extraction does not significantly alter facial shape. Facial structure is primarily determined by bones such as the zygomatic, mandibular, maxillary, and nasal bones. It is also not possible to achieve facial slimming by extracting teeth. However, in certain special cases, tooth extraction may have some impact on facial appearance. For example, removing canine teeth might lead to a collapse at the corners of the mouth, resulting in an older-looking appearance. Similarly, the loss or extraction of most teeth in the mouth may also contribute to an aged facial appearance.
