Is the result of orthodontic treatment without tooth extraction good?
Disease description:
Is the effect of orthodontic treatment without tooth extraction good?
Not all orthodontic patients require tooth extraction. Orthodontic treatment aims to correct issues such as misaligned teeth and malocclusion. If a patient has mild dental crowding, or if crowding can be resolved through other methods, teeth may not need to be extracted during orthodontic treatment. However, for some patients, tooth extraction is necessary to create sufficient space for the remaining teeth, relieve crowding, improve bite alignment, enhance facial harmony and aesthetics, and achieve optimal orthodontic results.
