How to know if a child has roundworms in the stomach
Disease description:
Pediatrics
To determine whether a child has roundworms in the abdomen, medical examinations are required. A stool sample provided by the child will be examined to detect the presence of roundworm eggs, confirming whether a roundworm infection exists. Other diagnostic methods, such as X-rays, CT scans, and ultrasound examinations, may also be used to help identify the presence of roundworms in the child's abdomen. Additionally, the child's clinical symptoms—such as diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting—will be evaluated to assess the likelihood of a roundworm infection.
