Child's lymph nodes causing abdominal pain

The lymphatic system is an important part of the human immune system. It is normal for children to have mesenteric lymph nodes in the abdominal cavity, and when these lymph nodes become inflamed, symptoms such as abdominal pain may occur. Treatment for mesenteric lymphadenitis is not complicated, but it tends to recur. Active anti-inflammatory and antiviral treatments are usually sufficient. If abdominal pain is severe, intravenous fluid therapy is recommended.
