Can multiple gallbladder stones heal spontaneously?
Disease description:
I have multiple gallstones, but I don't want to undergo surgery. So I'd like to ask, can multiple gallstones heal on their own?
Multiple gallstones in the gallbladder do not resolve spontaneously. Gallbladder stones refer to a condition where stones form on the wall of the gallbladder. When there are more than three stones, it is termed multiple stones. Patients with multiple gallstones may experience symptoms such as right upper abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting, and may also have signs including fever and abdominal tenderness. If symptoms are mild, observation and conservative management may be appropriate; however, if symptoms are severe, surgical treatment following medical advice is necessary.
