How is a brain CT scan performed?

Doctor's answer (1)
Dr. Huang Shichang
The CT brain scan procedure is as follows: First, the patient enters the examination room and lies flat on the examination table with both hands placed at the sides of the body. Next, the head is positioned in the head holder, and the doctor performs a cranial localization scan using the CT scanner. Finally, upon completion of the examination, the doctor operates the bed to raise it and informs the patient that the scan is finished. The patient is assisted into a sitting position and escorted out of the CT examination room. The patient is then informed about the designated time and location for collecting the examination report and CT images.
