The cause of bleeding after tooth extraction should be identified. 1. If the bleeding is due to local hemorrhage during tooth extraction, the mouth can be cleaned with a clean cotton swab and disinfectant solution, followed by firmly securing the extracted socket with a bandage to prevent continued bleeding. 2. If significant bleeding occurs in the mouth after tooth removal, the area can be cleaned with a moistened cotton swab and povidone-iodine solution, then the extraction site should be firmly packed and secured with a bandage to stop further blood loss. 3. Anticoagulation measures should also be taken, such as administering medications like heparin or sodium chloride to prevent blood clotting. If excessive bleeding persists, blood dilution or blood exchange may be considered to control the hemorrhage. If bleeding cannot be controlled, vascular suturing may be considered to stop blood flow.
