Lungs小结节要紧吗
Disease description:
Are small lung nodules a cause for concern?
Pulmonary small nodules refer to lung nodules with a diameter less than 3 centimeters, typically discovered incidentally. They may be either benign or malignant. The significance of pulmonary small nodules depends on their size, shape, location, and pathological type. Generally, nodules smaller than 1 centimeter are likely to be benign, whereas those larger than 2 centimeters may be malignant. In addition, nodules with irregular shapes, located in the central part of the lung, or showing evident vascular fibrosis may also indicate malignancy.
