What qualifies as buck teeth?
Disease description:
Dentistry
Under normal circumstances, the upper and lower teeth should fit together tightly without noticeable misalignment or gaps. However, in patients with protruding front teeth (protrusion), the anterior teeth are明显突出, preventing the upper and lower teeth from fitting closely together, resulting in malocclusion. The front teeth of these patients vary in size—some teeth may be larger while others are smaller—leading to tooth displacement. Additionally, their bite is abnormal, unable to align properly, which creates excessive spacing between teeth and impairs chewing function.
