Acid exfoliation is a facial beauty treatment that mainly falls into two types: AHA peels and daily maintenance acid exfoliation.

AHA peels involve using high-concentration alpha hydroxy acids to completely separate the epidermal layer from the dermis, producing a chemical exfoliation effect.

The acid exfoliation procedure begins with cleansing the face using warm water or a facial cleanser to remove surface oils, dirt, and makeup. Next, apply an appropriate amount of essence containing ingredients such as glycolic acid, salicylic acid, mandelic acid, or azelaic acid evenly onto the face, gently massaging for about 30 seconds to 1 minute until fully absorbed. Afterwards, continue with the following skincare steps, including toner, serum, lotion, and moisturizer.
