The principle of a hair removal device is to stimulate hair follicles with laser, damaging them in order to achieve hair removal.
The laser beam from the hair removal device is emitted in pulses at specific wavelengths and energy densities. When the laser reaches the hair follicles, its energy is absorbed by the melanin within the follicles. The melanin heats up and melts, damaging the follicles and thereby achieving hair removal.
