Special medicine for treating cardiac premature beats
There is no specific drug for treating premature heartbeats, as each patient's condition varies and treatment must be individualized. Commonly used medications include beta-blockers and non-dihydropyridine calcium channel blockers. Beta-blockers, such as metoprolol tartrate tablets and propranolol hydrochloride tablets, provide cardiovascular protective effects by reducing heart rate, decreasing cardiac output, and lowering blood pressure. They are suitable for patients with premature beats, coronary heart disease, and hypertension.
Non-dihydropyridine calcium channel blockers, such as nifedipine tablets and diltiazem hydrochloride tablets, inhibit calcium ion influx, reduce myocardial contractility, and decrease myocardial oxygen consumption, thereby helping treat premature beats. Traditional Chinese medicines, such as Wenxin Granules and Shensong Yangxin Capsules, may also help improve symptoms of premature beats to some extent. However, all these medications should be used only under the guidance of a physician.
