In early winter, dry skin is a common issue. Here are some ways to manage it. Ensure adequate hydration by drinking at least 1500–2000 milliliters of water daily to moisturize your skin from within. Choosing suitable skincare products also helps maintain healthy skin; use moisturizing creams and lotions containing ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and ceramides, which effectively lock in moisture. Apply hydrating face masks regularly, ideally 2–3 times per week. Pay attention to bathwater temperature—avoid water that is too hot and keep bathing time moderate, as prolonged exposure to hot water can strip away the skin’s natural oils and worsen dryness. After bathing, promptly apply body lotion.

Diet-wise, eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, which are rich in vitamins and minerals that help improve skin condition. For example, oranges and kiwis are high in vitamin C, which enhances the skin’s antioxidant capacity. Additionally, maintain an appropriate indoor humidity level by using a humidifier if necessary.

If skin dryness is severe, consult a healthcare professional promptly.
