Can chicken skin be completely cured?
Disease description:
Can chicken skin be completely cured?
Keratosis pilaris may be difficult to completely cure. Also known as follicular keratosis, this condition is a chronic skin disorder characterized by keratinization of hair follicles. The exact cause is not fully understood, but it is generally believed to be associated with genetic factors and nutritional deficiencies. Treatment options for keratosis pilaris mainly include medications (such as oral vitamin A and E, and topical retinoic acid cream), ultraviolet therapy, and balneotherapy (e.g., hot spring baths). These treatments can effectively improve symptoms, but cannot guarantee a complete cure. Even when symptoms are significantly improved, due to the chronic and recurrent nature of the condition and the influence of genetic factors, achieving a permanent cure is usually difficult.
