After giving birth, my friend suggested that I use a pelvic correction belt, saying it's beneficial for recovery. However, I'm not quite sure how to use it. Could you please tell me how to properly use a pelvic correction belt?

The correct way to use a pelvic correction belt is as follows: 1. Preparation: Wear only underwear when putting on the belt, allowing it to fit more closely to the pelvis. Choose the appropriate size based on your hip circumference to ensure the belt fits snugly but not too tightly. 2. Wearing steps: Open the pelvic correction belt and align it with the widest part of your hips, positioning the pelvis in the center. Adjust the belt to achieve moderate tightness—neither too tight to cause discomfort nor too loose to compromise effectiveness. Secure the belt using the hook-and-loop fastener (Velcro), ensuring it stays in place without shifting upward or downward, providing comfortable and stable support. 3. Usage duration and precautions: The first 42 days postpartum are considered the optimal period for pelvic recovery. It is recommended to wear the belt for about 8 hours during the day. Avoid wearing it at night while sleeping to prevent impaired blood circulation in the pelvic area.
