Can nearsightedness be treated?
Disease description:
I'm a girl, and I currently have myopia. I wear glasses every day and feel especially unattractive myself, especially since my prescription is quite high. I'm wondering if corrective treatment is an option—can nearsightedness be cured?

There are various treatment methods for myopia, and whether it can be cured depends on the severity of the condition and individual patient factors.
1. Wearing glasses: For patients with mild myopia, wearing corrective glasses is the most common method. Those with lower prescriptions may wear glasses only when needed, such as when viewing distant objects; however, those with prescriptions exceeding 300 degrees are advised to wear glasses continuously.
2. Medication: Several drugs for treating myopia are available on the market, but careful selection and proper use are essential to avoid potential side effects from inappropriate usage.
3. Other methods: These include eye exercises and dietary adjustments. Although they cannot directly cure myopia, they help relieve eye fatigue and prevent further progression of myopia.
