Orchitis does indeed have the potential to recur repeatedly. The main reasons for its recurrence include: 1. Low immunity: Some patients, due to weakened resistance or underlying chronic conditions such as diabetes or tumors, face greater challenges in treating orchitis and are more prone to re-infection after treatment. 2. Antibiotic resistance: Inadequate or improper initial treatment, including blind use of medications, may disrupt the internal environment and lead to bacterial resistance, causing the condition to fluctuate between improvement and deterioration. 3. Deep-seated infections: Pathogens may hide deep within tissues or in hard-to-reach areas such as testicular crypts, making it difficult for medications to completely eliminate the bacteria. 4. Latent or hidden infections: In cases of orchitis caused by certain microorganisms, bacteria may enter a latent state after treatment and reactivate under triggers such as fatigue or alcohol consumption, leading to recurrence.
