Dr. Luo Yong
Causes of High Urine Protein: 1. Physiological factors: Recent intense exercise, excessive fatigue, or mental stress may lead to blood concentration, thereby causing elevated urine protein levels. 2. Kidney diseases: Such as glomerulonephritis, pyelonephritis, and nephrotic syndrome. These conditions may increase the permeability of the glomerular filtration membrane, allowing plasma albumin to pass through the basement membrane and resulting in proteinuria. 3. Complications of diabetes and hypertension: Long-term unstable blood glucose control or poor blood pressure management can overload the kidneys, leading to pathological kidney changes and elevated urine protein levels. 4. Other factors: Urinary tract infections, lack of physical activity, and prolonged consumption of high-salt diets may also impair kidney function and contribute to increased urine protein levels.
