Dr. Luo Yong
The main symptoms of acute orchitis include: 1. Testicular pain and swelling: Patients experience significant testicular pain accompanied by swelling, with obvious tenderness upon touch. 2. Scrotal redness and swelling: The scrotum becomes red and swollen, corresponding to the testicular inflammation. 3. Fever and chills: Due to the inflammatory response, patients may develop elevated body temperature, sometimes reaching high fever (up to 40°C), along with chills. 4. Radiating pain: Pain may radiate to the scrotum, upper thighs, and groin area, increasing patient discomfort. 5. Abnormal laboratory findings: Blood tests often show a marked increase in white blood cell count, and urinalysis may reveal abnormalities.
