Pediatric fever may be related to the administration of the measles vaccine to some extent; however, not all fevers are caused by vaccination.

The measles vaccine, an important tool in preventing measles virus infection, may cause certain immune responses after administration, including mild fever. This type of fever typically appears within 24 to 48 hours after vaccination, is generally not high, and represents a normal immune response that will gradually return to normal. There are many causes of pediatric fever, including but not limited to upper respiratory tract infections, overdressing, and other diseases.

Therefore, although the measles vaccine may cause a transient fever, in most cases the direct link between vaccination and fever is not obvious. When fever symptoms occur, multiple factors should be considered comprehensively, and medical advice should be sought when necessary.
