What are the symptoms of leukemia?
Disease description:
Recently, I went to the hospital for a checkup and found out that I have leukemia. However, I currently do not have any other symptoms. Therefore, I would like to ask, what are the symptoms of leukemia?
The main symptoms of leukemia include the following:
1. Fever: Patients with leukemia often develop fevers of varying degrees, commonly caused by infections such as pharyngitis and stomatitis. Severe cases may progress to sepsis.
2. Bleeding: Bleeding can occur throughout the body, including the skin, gums, and nasal passages. Severe bleeding may occur in internal organs.
3. Anemia: Most patients develop anemia, which manifests as pallor, fatigue, palpitations, and other related symptoms.
4. Infiltrative symptoms: Enlargement of the liver, spleen, and lymph nodes; tenderness of the sternum; bone and joint pain; and proptosis (bulging of the eyes).
These symptoms may vary depending on individual differences and the type of leukemia. If these symptoms appear, it is recommended to seek timely medical evaluation and professional treatment.
