Dr. Liu Feng
Aplastic anemia, also known as aplastic anemia, has the following three main clinical manifestations: 1. Anemia: Patients often experience pallor, fatigue, dizziness, palpitations, and other symptoms, which may progressively worsen. Hemoglobin levels and red blood cell counts are typically significantly decreased. 2. Bleeding: Manifested as petechiae and ecchymoses on the skin and mucous membranes, epistaxis, oral bleeding, etc. Severe cases may develop visceral hemorrhage, such as hematemesis, melena, and hematuria. Platelet counts are usually low. 3. Infection: Reduced white blood cell counts lead to decreased immunity, making patients prone to various infections, such as respiratory tract infections and gastrointestinal tract infections. Common symptoms include fever, cough, and diarrhea. The aforementioned clinical manifestations vary depending on the severity and progression of the disease. Chronic aplastic anemia typically presents with milder symptoms, whereas acute aplastic anemia is severe and requires urgent treatment.
