The treatment for bilateral renal cysts should be selected according to the patient's specific condition.
1. Observation and regular follow-up: For patients with simple, asymptomatic, and small cysts, treatment may be temporarily withheld, with regular follow-up to monitor changes in the cysts.
2. Medication: If the patient experiences mild symptoms such as flank or abdominal pain, or frequent urination, anti-inflammatory medications like amoxicillin capsules may be used under a doctor's guidance; however, it should be noted that the effectiveness of medication is limited.
3. Surgical treatment: If the cyst diameter is less than 5 cm, cyst puncture and sclerotherapy or laparoscopic surgery may be performed. When the cyst diameter exceeds 10 cm or complications are present, traditional open surgery should be considered.
4. Lifestyle adjustments: Maintain a light diet, avoid strenuous exercise, and quit smoking and alcohol consumption to reduce the burden on the kidneys.
