What causes appendicitis?

Bacteria can easily multiply at the site of obstruction and cause infection. 2. Luminal obstruction: Related to factors such as luminal narrowing, small opening, food residue, fecal stones, and foreign bodies. Obstruction leads to increased pressure within the appendix and impaired blood circulation, which may exacerbate inflammation. 3. Unhealthy lifestyle habits: Such as long-term overeating, consumption of spicy or greasy foods, and irregular rest periods. These habits may lead to gastrointestinal dysfunction and increase the risk of appendicitis. 4. Other factors: Including upper respiratory tract infections, lymphoid hyperplasia of the appendix, and injury to the appendiceal wall, which may also trigger appendicitis.
