The main symptoms of appendicitis include: 1. **Abdominal pain**: Characteristically presents as migratory right lower quadrant pain. Initially, the pain may begin in the epigastric or periumbilical region, later migrating and localizing to the right lower abdomen within several hours. The nature of the pain can vary depending on the severity of the condition, ranging from mild dull ache to intermittent distending pain or severe pain. 2. **Gastrointestinal symptoms**: Such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal distension, diarrhea, or loss of appetite, which commonly occur after the onset of abdominal pain. 3. **Systemic symptoms**: Early stages may present with fatigue; as the inflammation progresses, fever may develop, with body temperature rising to 38°C or higher. 4. **Other symptoms**: Including frequent or painful urination (possibly due to involvement of the urinary system by appendicitis), and elevated white blood cell count.
