How to dissolve blood clots
Disease description:
Due to my lack of physical activity and frequent prolonged standing, I have developed blood clots. How can I dissolve these blood clots?
The main methods for dissolving blood clots include the following:
1. Medication therapy: Using thrombolytic drugs such as urokinase, streptokinase, and tissue plasminogen activator. These drugs can effectively dissolve early acute blood clots, especially those formed within 72 hours of onset.
2. Surgical treatment: For patients with severe conditions that cannot be relieved with medication, surgical interventions such as percutaneous coronary intervention or surgical thrombectomy may be used to directly remove the clot.
3. Physical therapy: Techniques such as massage and heat application can promote blood circulation and aid in resolving blood clots. However, it should be noted that physical therapy has relatively limited effectiveness and should be used cautiously based on individual patient conditions.
4. Interventional therapy: For blood clots in specific locations, such as acute lower limb deep vein thrombosis or acute pulmonary embolism, interventional procedures such as catheter aspiration, mechanical thrombectomy, or pulmonary artery catheter-directed thrombolysis can be employed to rapidly remove the clot.
