Is there a possibility of spontaneous healing in cases of pulpitis?
I have been experiencing frequent toothaches and gum bleeding recently. My doctor diagnosed it as pulpitis. I would like to ask if there is any possibility of spontaneous recovery from pulpitis?

Pulpitis usually does not resolve on its own. It is an inflammation of the dental pulp caused by bacterial infection, with symptoms including severe toothache, tooth sensitivity, or swelling. If left untreated, pulpitis may worsen, leading to abscess formation or the spread of infection to the jawbone. Once symptoms of pulpitis appear, prompt medical attention is necessary. The following measures can help alleviate pain:
1. Maintain good oral hygiene and brush teeth gently.
2. Avoid consuming foods that are extremely hot or cold to minimize irritation.
3. When infection or pain is severe, antibiotics may be used under a doctor's guidance to control the infection, or analgesics may be taken to relieve pain.
If a patient's pulpitis symptoms worsen or persist, prompt medical care should be sought.
