What are the early signs of oral cancer?
I am 28 years old this year. I recently went to the hospital for a medical checkup and was diagnosed with oral cancer, which worries me a lot. I would just like to ask, what are the symptoms of early-stage oral cancer?

Early signs of oral cancer may include:
1. Persistent sores: Ulcers appearing in the mouth that do not heal naturally within two weeks, usually painful, should raise concern.
2. Atypical patches or lumps: Unusual red or white patches found inside the mouth, or hard lumps felt upon touch, could be signs of early cancer.
3. Sore throat: Persistent throat pain or a sensation of having a foreign body, along with difficulty swallowing, may indicate oral cancer.
4. Pain and numbness: Continuous toothache, ear pain, or facial numbness may be related to oral cancer.
If these symptoms occur, prompt medical consultation is advised.
