How to deal with pimples
Disease description:
I've had severe heatiness/stomach fire these days, resulting in many pimples on my face. What should I do?

When dealing with acne, you can address the issue from multiple aspects:
1. Maintain cleanliness: Choose a gentle facial cleanser and avoid over-cleansing, which can lead to dry skin and excessive sebum production. Also, ensure regular cleaning of clothing, bed sheets, pillowcases, and other items that come into contact with your face to prevent bacterial growth.
2. Avoid squeezing: Refrain from squeezing pimples with your fingers, as this may cause bacterial infection, spread inflammation, and lead to scarring. If necessary, gently press with a sterilized cotton swab.
3. Dietary regulation: Maintain a balanced diet and consume more foods rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, such as apples and tomatoes. Avoid high-sugar, high-fat, and spicy or irritating foods to reduce sebum production and acne formation.
4. Medication: Depending on the severity of the acne, treatment may include topical retinoids, antibiotics, or other medications under a doctor's supervision. For severe acne, oral medications or other treatment methods may be required.
5. Lifestyle adjustments: Ensure adequate sleep and avoid staying up late or overexertion. Engage in moderate exercise, maintain a positive mood, and avoid excessive mental stress.
