I am 22 years old this year. I have never really understood the safe period and don't know how to calculate it. So, could you please tell me, during which days after menstruation is the safe period?

The safe period refers to which days after menstruation, and this mainly depends on the woman's menstrual cycle, duration of menstruation, and the regularity of her periods. 1. When the menstrual cycle and duration are regular: If the menstrual cycle is relatively regular, typically around 28 days, and the duration of menstruation is 3–5 days, then days 1–7 after the end of menstruation can be considered as the safe period. If the menstrual cycle is longer, such as around 35 days, and the duration of menstruation is shorter, such as about 3 days, the safe period after menstruation may extend to days 1–10. 2. When the menstrual cycle and duration are irregular: If the menstrual cycle is irregular, calculating the safe period based on the menstrual cycle alone will not be accurate. In such cases, it is recommended to use other methods, such as ultrasound monitoring or ovulation test strips, to determine the safe period.
